2023 Boat to a Brat and Annual Meeting Invitation
Everyone interested in Pike Lake is invited and encouraged to attend our annual Boat to a Brat social event and annual membership meeting of Pike Lake Neighbors, Inc. at noon, Sunday, Sept 3, 2023.
Dear Pike Lake Neighbors,
This past year has been a very busy year, primarily trying to negate the spread of CLP (Curly Leaf Pondweed) in the Turtle River Watershed including Pike Lake. There will be a number of presentations at our annual meeting. Some of the topics will deal with dues, financial status, CLP volunteer removal efforts, fishery information from the WDNR and other pertinent information that I believe that you will find interesting.
As we go forward it will be necessary to better coordinate and staff our efforts on Pike Lake. While we have been doing a good job working with Zach Wilson and his crews to pull and remove CLP, we will have to be even more vigilant in future years. Quite simply, CLP is a very hardy and evasive plant that will need constant monitoring and removal from our lake. We will need more participation from all Pike Lake residents as we go forward, from a volunteer and financial perspective.
Steve Anderson, Duane Silkworth, Dan Gossen and Sarah Bourne have all contributed mightily to make a difference as have the other Board of Directors. But we will need more help, as we go forward. Most of those noted are no longer “Spring Chickens”, me included. Your help, those of your family & friends will be needed to keep Pike Lake what it is. A great place to relax, recreate, fish and just observe nature. Please consider attending the Pike Lake Neighbors Annual Meeting on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Silkworth’s residence on Pike Lake. Your help is needed as we go forward! Also feel free to call me at any time – 920-609-5492 on any topic relative to Pike Lake and Pike Lake Neighbors.
Thank you.
Steve Kubacki – President – Pike Lake Neighbors Inc.

Please park in the driveway in a double column, as close as reasonably possible. Do not be concerned about being blocked in or blocking others. Overflow parking is across the road in a paved turn around area. Avoid parking along the private gravel road continuation of Gade Road.
If you wish, you are encouraged to boat over and tie up at the dock, which is in the north-east bay of Pike Lake. It’s an L-shaped pier with benches at both ends.
