Oct 17, 2019 Letter to Shoreland Owners
On October 17, 2019, a “Pike Lake Alert” letter was sent by US Postal Mail, to all Pike Lake lakeshore owners, and Turtle River shore owners from Pike Lake upstream to the Arrowhead road bridge, from Pike Lake downstream to Lake of the Falls, and a few close neighbors. We collected postal addresses from the Iron County Web Map supported by the Iron County GIS department. This letter to owners who are not yet on the email list introduces the emerging CLP problem, discusses the potential for forming a lake association, and encourages everyone to join the email list.
