Annual Informational Get Together
Pike Lake Neighbors June 17, 2024
Dear Pike Lake Property Owners
Please find attached to this communication information on the following topics:
1. ANNUAL INFORMATIONAL GET TOGETHER -We will be holding our annual informational get together at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Ruggers Landing. We will share information on the following topics: Curly Leaf Pondweed Observations, Pulls, and Developments; Membership Dues; Other Pike Lake Information that you may find interesting.
We will convene a short formal Annual Membership meeting. No votes are scheduled, although we can fill one open board of directors’ position, if someone volunteers to serve.
Brats, Potato Salad & Beverages will be served. Presentations will be made on a variety of topics, it will be a casual event,
2. CURLY LEAF PONDWEED PULLS – Curly Leaf Pondweed Pulls are scheduled for the month of July – July 8,9 & 10 and the month of August – August 6, 7 & 8 – See attached Events Calendar.
3. MEMBERSHIP DUES – Membership Dues are $20 per Member. Membership & Dues will be increasingly important as we go forward. Expenditures have been frugal and wisely spent – rakes, nets, aquaviewing devices, collection bags etc.. Membership numbers are important criteria for additional Wisconsin DNR grants and assistance. Dues payment methods are identified on the pikelakeneighbors.org website.
4. DOCUMENTS – Please review for informational purposes.

Quite frankly, we are talking about Curly Leaf Pondweed Control. It is becoming increasingly aggressive on our lake, Pike Lake, despite the efforts of our Organization with assistance from Iron County Land and Water Conservation Department and its employees. We need more and greater participation from our Property Owners and Residents.
Please review the attached brief information. It is but the tip of the iceberg, attendance at the July 6, 2024 Informational Meeting will be most interesting, you will not want to miss it!!!
If you are unable to make the meeting, please contact me at 920-609-5492 or Zach Wilson at 715-561-2234.
Our pikelakeneighbors.org website is a valuable resource on many different pertinent topics! Use it.
Thank you!
